I, Flory Sanderson Owner of Island Hill Farm opened my farm to the public during the summer of 2013. I've always had a dream of sharing my farm and the story of how it began. I have been living at this same farm house since 1989 , was married and raised 3 amazing daughters. During a global pandemic I recently became separated in 2020,  and had to continue on my calling.  Farming, educating and making memories with one visitor at a time. I've been around agriculture since I was 16 and have grown to love the passion and hard work required. This was a lifestyle choice.  It's not for everyone but it is for me. I believe in what I do and make a difference in everyday living for myself, my Team and visitors.

Since 2013 our farm has grown bigger then I could of ever imagined. Thanks to the support from Islanders and Tourists from all over the world who have made our farm a "must visit" destination when visiting PEI. In 2020, not only did we encounter a global pandemic, but my marriage separated. But realizing how my farm has become a happy place for so many, I pushed forward. I continue to operate and grow this business on my own with the help of my staff. COVID19 has been life altering and a learning curve for us all, but I have learned to dance with it and make the changes needed to be sustainable.
